Playing with Hippo

Emmie is starting to grab for her toys. Here she is playing with her little blue Hippo in the bathtub...





She also has fun drying off in her cute towels. Here she is with her hooded duck towel... and with her longhorn one - she's our little longhorn!!

Eating

Last week Emmie went for her 4 month check up and is officially allowed to eat cereal. The truth is she’s been getting rice and oatmeal cereal in her milk for over a month now. However, we started her on actually eating it and she seems to be catching on to the concept of eating with a spoon. I’m sure it’s no surprise to anyone that she is messy when she eats.

Shower and Play Time

Jensen and Owen came over to play before Carrie's baby shower. Emmie and Jens where hanging out when Jensen decided he'd see to how far he could get with Emmie. The pictures are not staged..goes to show how closely you need to watch your kids these days. No more TV for either of them!!

We had Carrie's babyshower and we got a supper cute cupcake cake from Sams...

I also made a diaper cake that I'm pretty proud of...

Celebrating Granddad's Birthday!

For Granddad's Birthday, Mommy and I went to Austin to surprise him. Uncle Austin, Aunt Dani and Kathy joined Granny, Granddad, Mommy and me for dinner. I had fun trying cream gravy and sucking on the icing on Granddad's carrot cake while Mommy wasn't watching.

Feeding Time

I'm starting to grab for my bottle and hold it on my own, at least for a second...
