Paw Paw's 90th Birthday & 4th of July

For Paw Paw's 90th Birthday Pam hired a photographer to come take some pictures of all of us enjoying the day. I think they turned out pretty good. Emmie and Andrew would not sit still long enough together, that I'm aware of, to get a good picture with Pam and Larry the one below is pretty classic (I think it should be on the Christmas card). As you can tell Emmie was in a serious mood that day. There are some more pictures on Picasa from the party(the link is on the right).

I swear every time I talk to Emmie I learn about something new she got at my parent's (pool, boat, puzzle, book - you name it!). I'm assuming there will be a large deposit in the 529 account to match the fun spending spree they went on this week.

Chris is in Singapore for work this week and I'm busy at work so my parents jumped at the chance to keep Emmie for the week. Here are some pictures of her week so far.

New pool and slide- tell me why does a kid that enjoys the large swimming pool (not to mention the 100's of $$ we've spent teaching her how to float in the big pool) need a little one??

Happy 4th of July

We went to Austin this weekend to spend the 4th with out families. Emmie and Andrew both rod in the parade at Great Hills. We also celebrated Paw Paw's 90's birthday afterward and had a good time catching up with everyone. Here are some pictures from the weekend. Emmie loves to jump from our hot tub to the pool, she wasn't as sure at my parent's house but with a little help showed off her skills there too.

Emmie never wears bows, don't get me wrong as soon as she had barely enough hair I tried to put one on her and she just pulls it out looks at it and puts it back ontop of her head and if you put it on again she does the same thing. Apparently yesterday she saw one of her bows and decided she would wear it for more than a minute. Here's a picture Maria took of her looking like a little girly girl.
