Potty Training
I've very proud & excited to say that Emmie is doing very well on potty training. She has been going on her own during the day for over a week now. I don't know what made her decide to go but other than needing help with the undressing (which she'll drag you along to the potty for) she'll go on her own. She doesn't even want treats for having gone. She still wears a diaper as she's not 100% trained but I'm very impressed with how well she's doing.

Merry Christmas!
We are a little late but here are some pictures from our wonderful Christmas. Emmie very much enjoyed opening and playing with her gifts as well as everyone elses. Big hits that weren't actually for her included pretty much everything Andrew got (but for sure his new cars), Auntie Laura's lotion & Uncle Scott's gloves. She did enjoy her own gifts as well and we are going to have to get serious about finishing out the extra room so we have a place for them all.

Happy Birthday Emmie!!
Today Emmie turns 2!! I can't believe she's already 2. I can't imagine our lives without her. She's such a sweet little girl (most the time). We had her Birthday party on Saturday and it was fun to see her play with all her friends. She got spoiled rotten and got more gifts than anyone needs. She loves them all but the dolls, kitchen and kitchen accessories where the biggest hit. She's with her Granny and G-daddy today in Austin - I know she'll have a great day, but we miss her!

Snow Day
On Friday we had snow in Houston. At first Emmie wasn't so sure of the white stuff but I think it had more to do with the multiple layers of clothing she was wearing that she wasn't used to.
