Julia's Birthday

Last week our neighbor's little girl turned 1 and to celebrate they got a big bouncy castle/water slide. I think the adults had more fun than the kids. Emmie wasn't sold on the concept, at first she really didn't like it but a little later she went down a little more willingly.

Happy Birthday Steve

Last night we went to Kingwood to meet our friends for dinner for Steve's Birthday. We are still learning the features on our new camera so most our pictures didn't turn out except the ones when the outdoor lights where on. Hopefully someone else posts some on their blog that I can download for our digital records. Emmie had a great time playing in the sandbox and eatting her cup cake. I have no idea where she learned that you just dive in head first but she certainly didn't hold back. She was still sleeping when I left at 8:30 this morning so that's a sign of a fun evening. The grown ups had fun catching up too!

Lost Control

Ok so I'm at least 99.9% to blame but we have lost control of our living room with Emmie friendly items. Damn Wal-Mart for having a special on the Barbie play house/tent. I will also admit that I secretly wish I was a kid again so I could fully enjoy this. I purchases this for Emmie and she has turned it into her little home in less than 1 evening. She takes Michael (our nanny's baby) into it her "house" and Bolt is watching out for them (although facing the wrong way). I'm sure we will have more pictures to post of her new "house" with her in them, but for now you just get to see our transformed living room.

Bolt

Emmie really likes Bolt, she watched the movie without sound on both flights to and from Amsterdam so when we got back Chris and I figured we should watch it with sound. Well she enjoys it just as much with sounds. Maria got her a large stuffed bolt that she likes to ride and play with too. Here she is watching the movie with Bolt.

Splash Day

Last weekend we have about a dozen kids over to enjoy a splash day. We had several little pools and a bunch of water sprinkler toys going. I think all the kids enjoyed themselves. Emmie enjoyed her drinking a bunch of capri suns, anytime someone put one down she thought it was hers to take.

Mowing the Lawn

Emmie has this pink lawn mower that she got from her Aunt Ellan, well she loves it and is very serious when she gets to pushing it. Here's some funny pictures of her "mowing" the concrete.

Pretty Blue Dress

We haven't been very good about pictures lately so here some from this weekend of us hanging out after breakfast. I need to figure out how to fix some of these on one the lens was fogged so it's not that great and on the others the sun was too bright...
